Welcome to Hustlers Den, where ambitious entrepreneurs get the chance to pitch their businesses to a panel of seasoned investors and experienced entrepreneurs.
Whether you run a small business selling perfumes or insurance services, this is your opportunity to present your business model, gain valuable feedback, and potentially secure funding to scale your venture.
Prizes
🏆 1st Prize: 1,000,000 XAF
🥈 2nd Prize: 500,000 XAF
🥉 3rd Prize: 250,000 XAF
📌 Note: Part of the prize(20%) money will go towards a 3-month incubation program facilitated by our partner, MountainHub. Participants in the program will receive additional mentorship and have the opportunity to secure further funding at the end of the incubation.
Judging Criteria
Teams will be evaluated based on the following:
Problem Identification & Solution (25%)
- Clarity of the problem being addressed
- Feasibility of the proposed solution
- Impact of the solution in eradicating the problem
Innovation & Differentiation (30%)
- Uniqueness of the business idea
- Competitive advantage in the market
- Potential barriers to entry for competitors
Business Effectiveness & Productivity (25%)
- How well the business delivers on its promise
- Operational efficiency and productivity
Market Potential (15%)
- Size of the target market
- Scalability and long-term growth potential
- Market research and customer validation
Q&A Session (5%)
- Ability of team members to answer judge’s questions
- Demonstrated ownership and understanding of the business
